As you can tell, i changed the name of my blogspot from graphik712.blogspot.com to thetokyosoul.blogspot.com. This is just to reflect the uncenteredship of the blog, most of what will be posted arent, i repeat, ARENT, centered around ME and MY life. Although opinions stated and videos/pictures/media shared are of my consent, overall its more benefitial to the readers (you all!) rather than me. I do this for you. Get that memorized. My real life begins when i close my eyes..

Lately, i've been noticing A LOT that reality for me sucks. Yeaa man, its like the same thing every day -____-.. but when i DREAM, i feel awake and at ease with myself. I feel very comfortable and at peace with my surroundings. Like, i dont have to deal with my insecurities or the day-to-day awkwardness i encounter.. haha.. man, it feels like heaven. I usually dream about things i've survived.. like my relationships (HAHAH.. no disrespect to my past girlfriends). Couple nights ago i had a dream about my ex girlfriend whom i didnt have much closure with, but while dating her i felt as if she was my everything.. as if nothing else mattered. I replay that feeling in my mind over and over as i sleep, and it congers up many dreams that i love to re-live. its like my alternate reality..

Graphik X 9th Wonder

Who else but me could do this? Yuuup, i wrote this at about 4am. I had things on my mind and wasnt concentrating much honestly.. i JUST recorded it. It was a kind of quick deal, but i liked how it turned out.. mostly. LOL. Yea, theres some slip-ups but its still dope!!! thinking about going into the studio (when possible!) and recording this to have it on the mixtape.. thoughts?

Movie: 9

Being a huge fan of Tim Burton's i had to check this shit out. The artistic visuals he provided in "The Nightmare Before Christmas" (everyone loves Jack Skellington!) were amazing. For those who have been living under a rock and have never seen it or heard of it, check out the video..




ANNNYYYWAYYY, back on topic. This new movie from him shows a lot of the same qualities as T.N.B.C. Its crazy how he invisions these things and how he brings it to life, its incredibly dope. The movie is called "9". Rather than explain the movie's storyline, watch this trailer for it.
